I am so happy to finally show you the bedroom refresh you guys! This has been a long time coming. From our old mattress that made me roll into the middle, to the lack of sleep because of feeling SO uncomfortable, the time had come!
With our first mattress, we only had about three years of sleep before both his side and mine had big divots, and we both were struggling to find comfort on a side hill as it felt!
We really couldn’t be more happy with our Agility mattress. My husband and I genuinely look forward to going to bed each night. It’s that comfortable. I have even started dreaming again and wake up feeling like I found the sleep I’ve been missing for years. I’m talking drool down the pillow, out like a light, sound blissful sleep I didn’t know existed. I’m a side sleeper, so support for my hips and shoulders is critical. This mattress allows heavier pressure points to sink appropriately making my whole body feel cradled, and even my hard working husband stated he feels this mattress helps with his aces and pains from hard physical labor. We topped it off with this stain repellant mattress pad that came with a 10 yr warranty, and these TruCool Side Sleeper Pillows that keeps you cool all night long (insert all the praise hands!).
I also want to show you a few details and sources with this bedroom. Many have asked about our sheets! I went with white wrinkle free 450-Thread Count Sheets by Therapedic. I can not begin to tell you how good it feels slipping into bed at night! I know that last photo doesn’t do them justice, and I really should have thrown them in the dryer before putting them on just to get the packaging creases out, but I have two kids (1 and 3 yrs old) sooooo yeah.. that didn’t happen! Opps!
The floral print on top is actually a duvet from IKEA! The coverlet is from the Schoolhouse spring collection, and the Eurpo pillows are from Anthropologie years ago.
The gorgeous handmade pillow in the center of the bed is from one of my all time favorite easy shops The Modern Farmhouse Co. I will be hosting a giveaway on my Instagram account this coming week, so stay tuned!
The bed I haven’t mentioned much even though we have had it for a few months because I am not so sure I should have bought it. I purchased it from Ballard Design (which I do not recommend and had troubles with their customer service), and I am not so sure the quality matches the price tag if you know what I mean.
The mantel was built by my friend’s husband a few year back, and the night stand was my grandparent’s passed down to me.
These curtains I shared a few sneak peaks in my stories on Instagram. They are by another one of my favorite Etsy shops called Not Perfect Linen. They are a family owned business who avoid programmed machines or other non-human help and try to use as much human input in the whole process as possible in order we could not only provide you with truly handmade item but also hire more seamstress who could honorably earn for a living. It really doesn’t get any better than that 🙂
I hope this post answers a few questions you may have had, and I hope you will consider a Therapedic Agility Bed Mattress and Therapedic accessories when its time for you to invest in good rest!
Let me know if I missed anything, and leave me any questions you have! Thank you as always for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
