My name is McKenna Czap and I am a Development Producer at Trailblazer Studios, an unscripted film and television production company based in Raleigh, NC. My team and I work closely with both cable and digital networks to create and produce content. Some of our more notable work includes the long-standing series Salvage Dawgs on DIY and Twice Born: Stories from the Special Deliveries Unit, which recently won an Emmy for Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary.
We are always looking for interesting people doing interesting things, especially in the home design/renovation business. Your work is a particular favorite of ours- a few of my coworkers actually already have been following you on IG- such fans! HGTV and DIY are two networks that we work closely with, since we have series with both, and they are always looking for new show ideas and talent. My team and I wanted to reach-out to see if you were interested in a potential series with HGTV.
Our process always begins with an initial Skype interview so that we can get to know the team, the business, and who the main players are. This is just the very beginning stages of development, so there are no contracts to be signed yet. The only thing we ask of you is your time to do the interview. After we Skype you (which is a recorded call), I edit that footage down into a 2-ish minute reel (what we call a Skype reel), jazz that up with picture of you and your work, and send that off to the network executives at HGTV and DIY. After that is sent over to the execs, we wait for feedback and for them to tell us if they are interested and see a potential show.

I, too, like Grove. I saw on Instagram the offer of a set of Mrs. Myers’ products with the purchase of the white ceramic dish. I really like these things, but I don’t know how to go about getting that deal. Help, please?
